Good Afternoon :]
Sorry i haven't been updating so quickly.. Last week or so has been busy busy busy.
Hardly had time for a cuppa myself!
Now playing catch up with pictures people have sent me..
Most recently updated photographs are in the facebook album, I'll be putting them up here shortly provided my little girl goes to bed in a timely fashion this evening. Ha.
So i had a friend come and stay this week, She bought with her a bag of PG Tips and a Toasty loaf of white bread... and a lovely pink polka dot print wrapped pressie!
Beautiful white china tea cup, saucer and side plate!
So chuffed with them, they are so cute!
So thank you Emma, if you are reading :] I adore them!

Welcome to my new little side project....
Needing to preoccupy myself with something to break up the monotony of life as a recent graduate and full time mummy i decided i would embark on another artistic journey (or waste of time?) So after some inspiration on twitter from friends giggling at my name (Teacupsandtoast, a username i use in various places..) i thought bugger it... how about a bit of a community project about my beloved tea and toast!
So now here we are! I asked of friends.. and friends of friends the following:

I'm after a wide range of quick snaps of peoples Morning or afternoon snacks..
That nostalgia of going home after school to a cup of tea and some toast with jam..
Or the more student like Cup of coffee and slice of toast (without butter because you couldn't afford it....oh, just me?) in the morning before lectures...
My best memory of it is the first cuppa and toast in the hospital after giving birth, after a 42 hour labour..it was quite welcome!
Its a kinda snack and warming mug that follows you through life a bit.. a simple, staple thing that you overlook!
Cures hangovers, is breakfast, lunch or tea.. It's really the best combo ever!
Basically i'm after a quick glimpse into your day to day life/snacks. haha. Nosey huh!
Starting to collect the pics now - Would really love any contributors!
Just a quick mobile upload will do, or you can get more arty about it..simple as just a picture of your brew of choice.. (can be variations of course..) and your toast or similar snack..
Brew n a biccy, coffee and a choc.. even juice and a slice of cake!
What's becoming interesting is less about the actual subject of what your photographing.. but the surroundings, what you take the picture with.. where you are and how you place things! It really is the breifest snapshot of a moment of your current life - i'm really enjoying working out things about you all from the picture you send.. i think its what is going to make this project exciting!

If you would also like to pop in how 'you make yours' i.e - milk and 2 sugars.. that would be a nice bit of info too!
...also a really good excuse for a nom and a cuppa! win win! lol.
